Volunteering with SSOPORA UGANDA INITIATIVE is a rewarding experience that allows you to make a direct impact on the lives of rural communities in Uganda. We offer various volunteer opportunities both on-site in Uganda and remotely.

Short-term Volunteering

Join us for 2-12 weeks to support specific projects or initiatives in Uganda. Ideal for those with limited time but a strong desire to help.

Professional Volunteering

Share your professional skills in areas such as healthcare, education, engineering, or business. We particularly need medical professionals, teachers, and IT specialists.

Internships

We offer 3-6 month internship opportunities for students and recent graduates interested in international development, social work, public health, and education.

Remote Volunteering

Support our work from anywhere in the world through tasks such as grant writing, social media management, graphic design, or research. Perfect for professionals with limited time.

MTN Uganda: Digital Education Initiative

MTN Uganda partnered with us to provide digital learning tools to 5 rural schools, benefiting over 1,200 students. The partnership included tablets, internet connectivity, and teacher training.

Save the Children

Save the Children: Healthcare Access

Our partnership with Save the Children established 3 mobile health clinics that now serve 15 remote villages, providing essential healthcare services to over 5,000 people annually.

Makerere University

Makerere University: Research Collaboration

Students and faculty from Makerere University conducted research on sustainable agriculture practices, which we've implemented in 8 farming communities, increasing crop yields by 30%.
